New Year - New HFMA Board

An Update from our President 

Dear Member,

Following the recent HFMA Annual General Meeting in September, I have the great privilege to take the position of President of HFMA Australia. Having a long affiliation with HFMA across many roles and states, I am excited to lead HFMA into a new era, with a range of new programs being introduced across the Nation. The health sector is facing great challenges across all states, and HFMA provides a vital role in supporting and connecting health services across all states – building towards our mission of sustainable healthcare for a healthy Australia.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce our new HFMA Board Executive and full board for 2019/2020.

The Vice-President positions are filled by Greg Stenton (Department of Health and Human Services, Victoria) and Thomas Pamminger (Northern Adelaide Local Health Network, South Australia)

The treasurer role is being filled by Melissa MacCabe (Metro North Hospital and Health Service, Queensland)


The full HFMA Board is:

·         Greg Stenton (DHHS Victoria, Victoria) – Vice President

·         Paul Monaghan (Women’s and Children’s Health Network, South Australia)

·         Ian Moody (Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service, Queensland)

·         Neville Onley (NSW Health, New South Wales)

·         Ross Sinclair (Sydney Local Health District, New South Wales)

·         Mark Lawrence (Western Health, Victoria)

The board also continues to be supported by invitees Stuart Donaldson (Monash Health, Victoria) and Eleanor Patterson (Department of Health, Tasmania)
